Wales have earned a vital point in their World Cup Qualifiers campaign after a dramatic 1-1 draw away to North Macedonia.
Craig Bellamy’s side had to work hard, with a late equaliser from David Brooks that sent the visitors home with a point.
The draw puts Wales second in their group on four points, just one goal difference behind North Macedonia.
However, it was a 91st minute goal that put the home side in-front at the start of injury-time.
North Macedonian striker Bojan Miovski capitalised on a poor back pass from Joe Allen, as he took it round goalkeeper Karl Darlow and into the back of the Welsh net.
As the hearts of the Welsh faithful started to break it looked like Bellamy’s men were going to fall short right at the end, but you can never discount Wales until the final whistle has been blown.
In the 6th minute of injury time the ball was lofted up into the home side’s penalty area, where substitute Kieffer Moore won the header which deflected onto the leg of a defender, and it finally fell to Brooks who tapped it past Stole Dimitrievski.
That result extends Bellamy’s unbeaten run as Wales manager to eight matches.
Craig Bellamy and Jordan James both provided their opinions on the game via the fawales Instagram page.
The 45-year-old said: “I felt we were the better team today; I have to be honest, and that’s no disrespect at all, I thought we really controlled the game. Could’ve made one or two better decisions in the final third but it is so hard.”
James added: “We controlled the game. We were the side who was trying to score. I feel that they came here to just sit in and not concede. But look, we look forward now.
Wales next World Cup Qualifier match will be against Liechtenstein, in Cardiff, on the 6th of June, with an away trip to Belgium three days later, who are yet to play a match in these qualifiers.
